Holy Saturday

Saint for the day: St. John Baptist de la Salle (1651-1719)

A good link to "facts" about Holy Saturday

Yesterday and today are special in the sense that no “Mass” was celebrated on Good Friday and technically, no Mass on Holy Saturday because the “Vigil Mass” is the Mass of Easter Sunday. So Holy Saturday is a quiet day. A still day of vigil at the tomb of Jesus.

The following “link” will take you to a very prayerful reflection for Holy Saturday which will give you more than enough to pray and meditate on during this (hoped for) quiet day. It’s taken from the Liturgy of the Hours for this day.
